Using Guides Like YouTube.com to Refill & Replace Your HP Ink Cartridge
Thanks to the internet now almost anyone can easily refill and replace their empty inkjet cartridges for HP printers without needing to be an industry professional or knowing trade secrets, it’s all available on YouTube.com videos or blog postings for the general public to view and learn at the click of a button. Although companies like Hewlett Packard have spent vast amounts of resources to find new and improved ways to foil attempts to bypass purchasing a new cartridge by hacking the old one to refill or refurbish them for sale, it is still very possible and for many models very easy to find a way around these measures and save yourself a ton of money.
It is worth noting that not only is it totally legal to work around the countermeasures HP put in place, but it is also very commonplace. Consumables like ink and toner have become the primary money making device in selling printers, and as a result their prices have skyrocketed in recent years. The easiest way to avoid paying too much for your ink is to simply refill it yourself by purchasing a refill kit and watching a couple of online videos. Another option is to let an industry professional refill the cartridge for you by buying “remanufactured” cartridges online, which are simply old HP cartridges refilled with ink.
Actually refilling the ink cartridge is by far the most complicated part of refilling and replacing your ink cartridges. Once the cartridge is full again replacing it into the printer is as simple as placing the cartridge in the proper slot, with the HP sticker on the top, and snapping it back into place. That easy! If the cartridge cover does not snap back into place before closing the printer up then you need to pull it out and try placing it in a different direction. Once you have done this and closed the printer up you are finished. It is literally that simple.
